I made this purse using vintage embroidered linens and reclaimed fabric, carefully hand sewing each piece onto a base cotton fabric to create a unique, rustic design. The strap is crafted from cord that I hand wound with fabric. I then hand dyed the fabric piece and cord a rich dark brown. Lined with floral satin for a delicate contrast, this crossbody purse securely snaps closed with a magnetic snap.
The purse is embellished with found objects such as a vintage brooch that can be removed and worn. a metal #1, a vintage clasp and a brass bell.
It measures 7.5" x 6.5" and the strap measures 23" from the fold to the edge of the purse.
